The Alpine team is two thumbs up this year. The team is coached by Kelly Brost, Jeff Geabrielse, Max Ginsberg, and Scott Hackbarth. Brost is an EPHS ski alumni. This year’s girls’ captains are seniors Elise Garton and Abbie Wesley. The boys’ captains are seniors Colin Askew, Kevin Knutson and Alex Orcutt.
Wesley said that this team is a great group: “We have lots of experience and we work well together.” It certainly shows when you look at their records. The boys, so far, have a record of 17-4 and the girls’ record is 14-7. Both teams are hoping to go to State. “Our biggest challenge will be figuring out where we are going to put all of our trophies,” said Wesley.
